This week

Scenes from recent life including the surfer who had caught a fish, which I think must require quite a bit of skill, and a lucky break catching Spike mid-yawn.

Cat Stuff (again)

On Monday Poppy had been missing for a whole week: and I wrote this in my notebook.

Tuesday, someone phoned N to say they had found her and had her at their house! She had wandered right down the street and into the next parallel road.

We are so-pleased N has her back, and she will now have to be an indoor cat, as she is defintely totally deaf.

Paintings to loan

I am thinking of offering paintings on loan: you can have one of my paintings in your house/flat/room for a limited number of weeks, then change it for another. Or even make an offer for it! Your houses would be my mini galleries, and your friends would get to see my work. What do people think of this idea? Here I've put a selection of fairly recent stuff for you to browse.

CATS

Cats are wonderful. They're also endlessly a nuisance, expense & liability! Why do we humans keep cats?! Why do they live with us?

Poppy, Nicky's very old cat, has gone missing. We "dashed" (it took 50 mins in the rush hour) over there yesterday to put flyers through doors and posters on telegraph poles. At least now a neighbour has reported a sighting: we hope she'll be found safely.

While gardening yesterday, I stopped to brush & play with our cats. They were playing with the garden twine anyway, they were very interested in a protective cage being constructed around a hellibore which is in the line of fire for their fighting games. They also enjoyed chasing the rainbow coloured cat toy. They knew when the camera came out, to look less interesting.

Spark & Spike like to lie spread out in the kitchen, waiting to trip us up or be trodden on!

Moppet is now walking on my desk with muddy paws, so must stop! Cats are jealous of the attention we give computers.
