Under the glass ceiling

It's good to 've done the Pilgrimage exhibition at St Giles's, which was quite popular - and now to be back on some of my "own ideas" work. Example here, in progress ... (and yes the cat is not supposed to be fully in the painting)

Am finding our new internet provider has solved the problem of the computer taking hours to upload photos, so hopefully more will follow this.

Funny

I like this: passed on a walk in Islip. We did cross the footpath over the bridge: it felt like an ordinary one to me, but maybe it does have a more liberal outlook than, say, a more ancient and traditional "Narrow bridge" !

Spike and Spark

Spike and Spark have moved in to join Moppet. They lived next door but needed to be re-homed when the tenants moved. They're brothers about 18-24 months old, Spike weighs 7 kg! He's huge and solid and muscular. Spark is more nervous than Spike, and more subtle, and he loves to be up high.

Your book is your baby...

Yes! "Baby, Baby" is AT LAST "completed" with revisions, re-writes, et al ... and even on its way to become "real" between covers.

Was really rude about a book last time I posted: well, soon people will be able to be rude about mine ... it is true, what someone told me, your creation, when you send it out into the world, feels like you're sending out your child. Why do we do it then? (Because our child is the best child ever???) !
